When i manually started the guest (a fedora 34 host) i wish to use in a topology, bridge100 and bridge102 were created on the Mac host. When i manually started my gns3-vm a host interface bridge101 was created. and then, once the guest has been started, the network interface on the mac host is a bridge interface.īridge0 seems to be a bridge interface that exists by default. While not having delved deeply, in my opinion, the issue is that vmware fusion doesn't create a guest's network interfaces until the guest has been started. I did find the gns3 code where it all happens. In my opinion, this is all associated with GNS3/gns3-gui#3106. Reply to this email directly, view it on GitHub, or unsubscribe and yet a bit more. Go to preferences VMware / Network / Configure to add more interfaces." - pops up every time I try to start the device. The error - "No VMnet interface available between vmnet2 and vmnet255. I have also allowed GNS3 to override non custom VMware adapter, however, I cannot start the device. I have configured the VMnet interfaces to use from within GNS3 (see snapshots). I'm trying to connect a windows 7 VM installed on VMware Fusion 12 running on macOS with an existing topology on GNS3.
